https:\/\/ecosurbanos.pt\/lugaresdeencontro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Meeting-places-Ecos-Urbanos-31MB.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\nLugares de Encontro (Meeting Places) will be a place dedicated to the empowerment of 50 single-parent families, in particular woman who due to the socio-economic vulnerability find themselves with their minor children at their sole expense. This way, it will be possible to strengthen their social immune system through their participation in weekly workshops dedicated to the improvement of their self-knowledge, self-care and self-esteem while promoting leisure and social bonding in a continuous and potentially transforming way. At the same time, creative workshops are held for their children in order to guarantee the adequate family support and their artistic development in a tailor-made program. This project also aims to promote a reflection about the intervention based on Aesthetics of the Oppressed methods and the artistic and cultural experimentation on socially vulnerable groups.
